A lunch & learn fundraiser for Friends of Mimosa Hall & Gardens, featuring gourmet sandwiches, sweet tea, cookies, and a talk and book signing by Lee Dunn, author of Cracking the Solid South: The Life of John Fletcher Hanson, Father of Georgia Tech.

This talk and lunch will be held in the Osage Room on the campus of historic Bulloch Hall. Free parking on-site.

Historic Rowell Van Tour

A guided van tour of historic Roswell to celebrate the 180th anniversary of John Dunwody's arrival in Roswell. Dunwody, the first owner of Mimosa Hall, arrived in the Roswell area in December 1838. This tour, led by author Michael Hitt, traces the original route of the settlers of Roswell, with stops at the site of Dunwody's first home, the ruins of the Roswell mill, and more. Ticket includes a boxed lunch from a local restaurant. The van loads in front of Mimosa Hall and the tour begins promptly at 10:30am.
