Internship Opportunity

Friends of Mimosa Hall & Gardens seeks a part-time intern to help with researching and writing grant proposals. Position would last from mid-January through April. We require a commitment of at least 5 hours/week. The position will require some travel to libraries and to Mimosa Hall for check-in meetings, but work will mostly be done from home/school with minimal supervision. The position is unpaid.

-must be upper-level undergraduate or graduate student

-major in History, Communications, English, American Studies, African-American Studies, or Public Policy preferred

-valid driver’s license preferred

-experience in historical research preferred
